Michael DePasquale Jr. Makes Historic Gift to the Second Amendment Institute
Washington, D.C. – September 19, 2025 –
The Second Amendment Institute (SAI) proudly announces that longtime supporter and friend, Michael DePasquale Jr. – Human Rights Agent, Mega Donor, American Businessman, and Venture Capitalist – has made the largest single gift in the organization’s history since its founding in 2016.
DePasquale’s generous five-figure contribution not only cements his commitment to the Institute’s mission of safeguarding and advancing America’s Second Amendment rights but also automatically qualifies him and his partner for President’s Club status, the Institute’s premier recognition for its most distinguished benefactors.
Thanks to DePasquale’s extraordinary generosity and commitment, SAI was able to host and honor American hero Robert J. O’Neill earlier this year. O’Neill, the U.S. Navy SEAL widely recognized for his pivotal role in the 2011 mission that ended Osama bin Laden, was the featured guest at a special event in June. His participation provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for supporters and young advocates to hear firsthand from a man who exemplifies courage, patriotism, and service to the nation.
“Michael’s leadership, friendship, and continuing service to the United States of America have been instrumental to our growth. He is a man of character, integrity, and his word is golden – something I have witnessed on many occasions. He is a strong advocate for our cause,” said Tyler Yzaguirre, President of the Second Amendment Institute. “His record gift directly empowered us to bring an American hero to our community, inspiring the next generation of defenders of freedom. We are profoundly grateful for his vision and his trust in our mission.”
DePasquale’s historic contribution underscores the power of philanthropy in strengthening the movement to preserve constitutional rights. His partnership with the Second Amendment Institute reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that the principles of liberty, self-reliance, and security endure for generations to come.
